Algae Control F-30
Algae Control is a highly concentrated, chelated copper sulfate chemical. It controls all types of algae including, planktonic, filamentous, hydrilla, chara and nitella. Use in reservoirs, fire ponds, ornamental lakes, large ponds, drip irrigation, potable water and irrigation conveyance systems.
Can be applied with a sprayer. If you don’t have aeration but you do have fish, only apply to one section of the pond at a time. Works best with aeration.
HOW TO MEASURE A LAKE
Length (L), Width (W) and average Depth (D) in FEET
Square shaped bodies of water
L x W x D x 7.5 = approximate gallons
Circular or Elliptical bodies of water
L x W x D x 5.9 = approximate gallons
Total gallons divided by 325,851.6 (gallons per acre foot)
= Acre Feet
Total length x width divided by 43,560 sq. ft
= Surface Acre
EXAMPLE: 1 acre x 5 ft deep x 325851.6 =
16292588.00 gallons of water
1 qt., 1 gal., 5 gal.
